Two Thursdays ago i had my target apt scheduled.... ya know the one i made 6 WEEKS in advance!!!! Well for one reason or another i got the time confused and ended up missing that lovely apt.
CRAP!!
Long story short..... the sweet nurse at the office ended up talking to her manager to get me in the following Tuesday. YAYYYY! I was soooo grateful that i wouldn't have to wait yet another 4 weeks to find out if there was anything wrong with our sweet baby.
The ultrasound went perfectly. Baby is perfect! How on earth did that happen!! what a miracle:) we are so excited and grateful for a healthy baby. She also said that she thinks Nora will come around May 27th... I'm not holding my breath. I'll hang on to June 3rd. At 23 weeks Nora weighed 1 lb 6 oz. That was pretty good, but still a little larger than expected.
At my 24 week apt, my doctor said that she weighed 2 lbs. 2 oz! Holy cow!!! My baby is HUGE!! Luckily, he said it's nothing to really worry about....BUT we learned that just because the baby is measuring "2 weeks" ahead doesn't mean that the due date changes.... It just means that in growth, the baby is 2 week bigger than expected. But she's not 2 weeks more cooked than she should be... if that makes sense.
Here's a progression of ultrasound pics. it's crazy to think that she grew from just a poppyseed and is now as big as a Rutabaga...(whatever THAT is).

Week 24!!Sorry for all the "High Quality"pictures. Needless to say.... we need a new camera! Especially one that points and shoots. I won't want to miss a second of this little Girl. Anyone have any suggestions on a good camera?? Nothing too fancy...or bulky
